Fun in the workplace. This company is adding a little fun in the private workplace. Perhaps fun may not be the perfect phrase but you have to smile a but when talking about using a bidet, especially for the first time.
Upon graduating college my cousin and I traveled throughout much of Europe. The bidet is a part of their culture, not ours, at least not yet. That is what Tushy is focused on doing. Besides providing a new sense of clean, they also need to have us change our way of thinking.
That is a challenge for them but it is also a common challenge for us. Funny is that Margaret Marshall just finished her weekly podcast on eating and her suggestions also include changing your way of thinking.
The great question for that is how? It really is up to you to make the change. Forget about all the things you are going to do and start thinking about the why. Why, do I want to build a business, lose weight, get healthy become happier. Get happier? Sure, how good would you feel if you were happier? Not only is that feeling important to you, it will also lead to other accomplishments.
As with any new goal or approach to a goal it doesn’t talk much to plan, but it does take effort to start. Here is how you do it. Go, stop thinking, stop planning stop identifying all the reasons why it won’t work. There are too many scenarios that don’t happen and it is not worth the time. Start small, be happy for a moment, think bigger be happy for a day. Then get really big, follow Steve’s advice, find the humor in everything. He and I both have experiences where this is next to impossible but you can do it. he is the expert so read his books. Even better call me and we can book him at your next event.
I am going to catch a lot of heat from people who write for a living since I have been all over the place with this one. But that is the point.
Live in the moment, enjoy each activity. Life will send us in a million different directions exactly when we are not prepared. If you know what is really important to you then all of a sudden everything will fall into place,
You will have the confidence to develop a product that will change the way we think. Early cellphone people were “unique”, now if you don’t have a cellphone you are “unique”. Your confidence will be contagious. People will follow, Margaret Marshall, Steve Rizzo and other members of the Speakers Bureau are very confident and their audiences change their thinking when they present. Your confidence will help you make the right decision as you go through life without even thinking. It will be who you are and that become a permanent change in the way you are thinking.
