CMM Strategies Presents Business Unusual: Focus on Mental Health
Event Date: August 18th, 2020
The physical and economic toll of COVID-19 on our communities has dominated the national conversation since March, but the impact of 2020’s many challenges on our mental health is no less critical. Join us for an important conversation about the rollercoaster of emotions we’ve been feeling this year and learn ways to help manage the anxiety, fear, loneliness, and hopelessness that so many of us are experiencing.
You’ll hear from Jeffrey McQueen, MBA, LCDC, the Chief Program Officer for the Mental Health Association of Nassau County and a combat veteran who has lived experience with multiple facets of recovery. Lisa Gilman, LCSW of Psychotherapy Wellness Services in Roslyn Heights and NYC will also join us to discuss strategies to effectively manage stress, depression, and anxiety. Join us to learn strategies to move forward and find purpose and empowerment in our current experiences.

ABOUT THIS EVENT
We hear about the symptoms, the testing and the numbers but what can people do to prepare?
That is what we have been doing at Pulse for over twenty years – preparing people to become patients for the best possible outcomes.
The TakeCHARGE, 5 Steps to Safer Healthcare is a campaign that we started in 2019. Now, through virtual workshops, presentation, social media and ambassador training to expand our work, we can reach more people.
But, we need support to continue and grow!
All payments can be made to https://pulsecenterforpatientsafety.org/donations/ Please put the date and amount of payment so we can match it up to you. Or, to avoid fees, send checks to Pulse PO Box 353 Wantagh, NY 11793. All checks must be received by September 10th.
