Veterans Day 2016 – May the actions we take today be respectful of the actions they took then.

This is Veterans Day to me, Uncle Harold, he served in WWII, but the “Uncle Harolds” of this nation have served in many wars, initially giving us us our freedom to decide on issues for ourselves, to being a enforcer and protector of what we feel is right around the world.

An amazing sacrifice of their time, health and for some their lives. Or nation, our Veterans have given much to allow us to vote, to voice an opinion and to become anything we wish. Thank you Veterans and your families for giving us this right and I hope we make you proud as we exercise this right in a manner that is respectful. In a manner that will make you us proud of us as we are of you.

He told me some stories, but never what he was thinking at this moment.
May the actions we take today be respectful of the actions they took then.

Virtually every activity I am involved with is further the idea that exposing our students to a wide variety of career possiblities. Identify how you can make a long term difference and please share.
