The mission of the Stony Brook Women’s Leadership Network and Project FORWARD is to create sustainable initiatives for the retention, advancement and development of Stony Brook women faculty and staff.  This project, initially funded through the President’s Mini-Grant for Departmental Diversity Initiatives works to establish a professional and social climate that enhances opportunities for learning, discovery and engagement among women colleagues.

In 2019 I was introduced to a whole new world. Decades working in corporate America has made it very clear that a combnination of passion, talent and perserverance will ultimately lead to a successful career. In 2019 I lead a panel discussion which led me to the idea that a Long Island Motorpsorts Park would be a career catalyst for our High School students. Virtually every activity I am involved with is further the idea that exposing our students to a wide variety of career possiblities. Identify how you can make a long term difference and please share.
